All right, yesterday...

Okay, I think I've gone too far.

I want everyone to know that I think I may have gone too far,

but I'm not going to repent in the truest

sense of the word repent because I sometimes you just need a hothead like me to help other

people get the right idea.

In yesterday's show we were talking about Julia Dewin's book and we're listening to a sound bite from Julia

doing about about her book called quitting church and she was basically saying

that people are leaving because the stuff they're getting in church is basically juvenile, it lacks any depth, it's Christianity

for newbies and it never moves beyond the newbie stage, and people are leaving in droves and so I made the suggestion that pastors should

good faithful pastors should consider going on the attack.

That they need to consider getting some marketing pieces out there to the people who are quitting

church to let them know, hey you don't have to starve to death in church and we actually

preach God's word and we'll actually give you a meal.

And so one of the ideas that I had was to take the photograph from Andersonville of that

Union soldier who was starving to death in Andersonville and put it on a postcard and you know with a basic

message that we'll give you you know are you starving to death in church and and so what

I did is I spend a little time in Photoshop today and put it together and posted it at fighting for the faith.com and every time I see it I crack up because it's so wrong. The front of the postcard has that picture of that poor guy starving to death.

I mean he's all skin and bones.

And it says, does your pastor refuse to feed you
