0:11.9	Several years ago, when we first began the Enjoying the Journey broadcast, we started with my favorite book of the Bible.
0:19.0	I've adopted it really is my life's study on the book of
0:22.3	Philippians. And the theme, of course, of that great book is the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ.
0:28.0	Truly, it is the Bible treaties on what it means to enjoy the journey. Now we're thrilled to share
0:35.5	this anniversary series with you again in the hopes that God will use it in your life to help you learn to enjoy the Lord Jesus Christ at whatever stage you happen to be on on life's journey.

1:00.7	In Philippians chapter one, we are looking at Paul's prayer list. Wouldn't you love to just
1:06.7	peek over the shoulder of the great apostle? You see him there on his knees with a list in front of
1:12.7	him of people who's praying for believers in Philippi. And listen to him pray. Paul, what are you praying for?
1:20.5	Philippians 1 verse 9. He says, in this I pray that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment. We learned last time that he
1:30.4	begins his prayer, first of all, with this prayer request for inward growth, that they would have a
1:36.2	deeper understanding of the love of God and that that love would be expressed in and through their
1:41.1	life. You know, it's interesting, but the fruit of the spirit, Galatians 522, begins with love,
1:46.9	and then joy.
1:48.1	Notice the connection between love and joy.
1:50.4	If you want to enjoy life, if you want to enjoy the journey,
1:53.9	then learn the secret of letting the love of God be real in you and through you.
1:59.6	And the Bible says he prays that it would abound yet more and more.
2:04.7	You see, this is not just something for the initial stages of our Christian life. This is something
2:09.8	that's supposed to grow in us. This is something we're supposed to grow in. The Christian life is
