Let's start with those job numbers on Friday.

Yes, indeed.

A very healthy report, 235,000 new jobs in the month of February.

And the unemployment rate went down to 4.7%,

which immediately raised the question about who gets the credit for this.

You didn't have to wait to find out. Donald Trump immediately, immediately jumped on those numbers.

Within an hour after they were released,

claiming that this makes America, he was making America great again.

Look at 235,000 new jobs.

Well, there's only one thing wrong with that.

No, there's a lot wrong with that.

But the first thing wrong with it is, ever since the days of Ronald Reagan, there's been a rule. Now, it's not a law. You can't go to prison for violating it. But everybody agreed

that they would, they would wait for, politicians would wait for at least

one hour after the job numbers came out before they would comment on them. And sometimes,

you probably remember, I used to get frustrated at Barack Obama because the job numbers would

be very good and the White House would say nothing about them. Because they didn't want it to look like politicians were taking credit for things that just happened because of

good weather or good work on the part of the unions or American workers and didn't want to turn

something which was like good news into just cheap political

grandstanding. That didn't stop the Trump White House? No, Donald Trump himself within the hour

was taking sole credit for it. And so was Sean Spison. Now, this is funny because let's go
