In the book of Galatians, Paul confronts Peter, and it's not a personality conflict.

It's been brought about by Peter's refusal to allow Gentiles who weren't obeying the Jewish kosher laws to be included within the family of God.

And he's introduced a damnable plus. It's faith in Jesus

plus obedience to the law. And Paul is now explaining that theoretically. And he's saying,

it's never about our obedience. Our justification can never be about our obedience.
