I'm using my words very carefully here. Paul McCartney is not a genius. John Lennon

was not a genius, but Paul McCartney plus John Lennon created genius, because genius

like art is the work of a human, a human who is leaning into something, doing something

surprising, something more than they have to, something that might not work. And when

it doesn't work, we sort of ignore it, but when it does work, we're tempted to chalk

it up to talent something people are born with, to some mysterious voice from the muse,

that it's easy to believe that other people have genius, that other people have talent,

but not us, not right now. And so we get stuck. So what I want to talk about is a movie

that is impossible. Try to imagine this. The four most famous creators of all time in

any field, in one group, the Beatles, who are in the midst of a lot of internal stress
