in the mean of alcoholics, anonymous, I want to thank my friend Don for inviting me and

thank you for giving me an opportunity to participate in my recovery.

I'm a little distressed, I just found out this afternoon that my friend has never written

on a train, so there's anybody in this room who has any connections with the railroad,

please put him in a box car and take him somewhere.

I love alcoholics, anonymous, I love being here, I love everything about alcoholics, anonymous,

I'm a little disturbed by the not drinking part, but I think you have to take all of it together.

My sponsor always tells me when I'm going to do this, she always gives me the same dreary

direction.

She always says to me, tell him your name and tell him the truth.

I've already told you my name, I'm not so sure I'm going to tell you the truth.

And the reason for that is clear to me, I mean I don't know about anybody else, not the

alcoholics, but I never knew that what it used to be like was going to be important.

If I would have known that I was out there, that I would be here tonight, expected to report

to you what it used to be like, I would have paid more attention to my life.

If I would have known I was going to report what it used to be like, I can guarantee you,
