In today's episode, we are going to talk about the elimination of the pattern day trading rule,

also known as PDT. This is a rule that's plagued a lot of traders for many years now with small accounts.

And I've done a lot of episodes talking about this.

And even a few that's actually focused primarily on this very topic.

But it's never been about the elimination of the rule until this week.

And that's because the SEC agreed to accept Feneres proposal about eliminating this particular rule.

So today's email comes from a guy.

We're just going to call him Texas.

And I don't use their real names.

I give them a Florida redneck name.

And you're wondering, well, how is Texas a Florida redneck name?

I don't know how it's not a Florida red nickname.

It's the most Florida redneck name I think I've ever heard.

So we're going to call this guy Texas.

And Texas writes, hey Ryan, just saw that the SEC eliminated the pattern day trading rule.
