In early 1980, my great-grandfather opened a savings account for me at a local bank because they were giving away prints of those images to new customers.

I clearly remember how excited he was to share them with me, and they were inspiring.

They told eight-year-old me that there was something more, something bigger, something to be explored and understood and maybe even visited someday, and it was out there.
