I learned late last night that the Patriots were willing to offer their 20-20 first round pick for Trent Williams,

but we're told by the Redskins that it was not enough.

So that's it. You know, there's no much, there's nothing more to it. I don't know if anybody else

has offered anything. We can, you know, discuss this for a little bit because I think it tells us a

few things maybe, but not definitively, but the Patriots,

according to my sources were willing to offer their 20-20 first round pick for Trump

Williams. The skins told them it wasn't enough. They didn't say, no, we're not trading them.

They told them it wasn't enough. They wanted more. So with that, the first thing that it suggests, right, is that the Redskins actually are interested in moving him,

or there is a price the skins will take for Trent Williams.

Now, a first round or late in the first round, which is what New England's would be,

it may be as close to a second round pick as it would be a first round pick, usually in the first round, which is what New England's would be. It may be as close to a second round pick as it would be a first round pick, usually in the 30 to 32 range.

You know, maybe they wanted more because it was the Patriots, you know, projected first rounder,

which would be, you know, projected to be late first. Maybe they would take just a first from Houston,

who, by the way, had another injury to an

offensive lineman recently. But it does suggest that the Redskins are at least listening.
