We're going to do a bunch of college football preview stuff. I'm going to talk about Kim Newton being cut news this morning and a new batch of life advice, including a statement that needed to be issued, I guess.

Today is the final cut down day, the 53 man roster. And if you're on the East Coast or waking up on the West Coast news of Kim Newton being cut kind of the headline here is New England has decided to go with Mac Jones is a starting quarterback this year. So let's back up.

We had a few teams that needed make decisions and feel free guys if you want to jump in at some point here at the end of this.

Because I think there's some where we thought like okay, the jets really making a decision of the exact Wilson, especially when you look at the rest of the depth chart at that position. I mean the jets are just going for it here.

Who else Jacksonville had to make a decision they want Trevor Lawrence. I don't think anybody was shocked by that one. I think the only thing you could look at is the handling of the gardener, Menshu deal.

Was it brilliant in the way they handled him as if you were a real option and therefore they got something for him to trade with the Colts or was it a complete waste of time and a charade when Lawrence was always going to be the starter and then Lawrence was getting enough reps and that's something that we hear all the time.

And as I get older and sometimes I'll push back a little bit no one's ever told me reps actually aren't important.

Okay, I'm not arguing that but I guess I don't know that I always believe that if like a guy isn't taking every single rep that somehow like deters his career at some point.

So it depends there was opinions all over the place in the weekend on the gardener, Menshu deal brilliant or complete waste of time. But Jacksonville is going with their guy Houston's a whole another topic.

We'll get to the Dishon watch and trade rumor stuff that was going on this weekend as well Denver goes to Teddy bridgewater.

Chicago, you know, honestly, bears Twitter is so unsufferable right now and not that I've ever put bears Twitter in that group with other fan bases.

But like the amount of angst and depression that all bears people have and even like it's leaked over into people that have no emotional attachment to the bears whatsoever.

The fact that Nackie like just keep pushing back on just the field starting I kind of feel like it's becoming a waste of time because look here's what's going to happen.

It's not going to be that great and then fields is going to play and I don't know that it'll prevent the bears from making the playoffs.

Who knows the NFL you never know you switch out half the teams.

The Saints going with James that honestly shouldn't be surprising whatsoever.

And then Tray Lance and in Garoppolo I don't know that that was really much of anything there.

And Tray Lance did hurt his finger but that's not that big of a deal apparently.

If I go back and jump on one of these the Dishon watch and he turns 26 a couple weeks the rumor was that they were going to get three first and two seconds.

I don't know there's some ballsy front office people I don't know who would have both the equity built up with the city.

Although you know look if if we're being grown up about how these decisions come about.
