discussing the old school nature of this matchup. Also discussing Drake May in the all-time

great quarterback that Joe Buck is reminded of when he gets the opportunity to speak to Drake May. It's a tremendous conversation. We do not want to keep you waiting. Joe, thank you so much for being with us here today. Are you sure they're going to be watching? Are you sure that they're not going to say, hey, I'm just going to tape it or I'm going to TVO it or I'm going to DVR it and don't tell me who won. I'm going to watch it next next week. You think that doesn't happen? There might be a handful of people out there who say, you know, it actually is going to snow,

and it might be like a good, it might be like a good sledding sort of situation on Sunday. So why don't we just go do other stuff and then I'll just watch it next week when I'm watching like the beast in me on Netflix?

That's totally possible.

And if you're out there listening, I hate to offend you if I maybe have offended you.

But Joe, this is going to be a great game, I think.

And my understanding is this is actually going to be your first Patriots playoff game at Gillette Stadium,

which is just hard for me to compute, given how many you've called and how many the Patriots have been in.

But I do want to ask you this, what's it like for you to come back to the Boston area?

You'll be in Foxborough, obviously, but when you do come back, because you are, and your voice is just such a part of people's lives and has been for some of their happiest sports memories

over the year. So I'm curious, when you come back, what does that like for you?

I love it. You know, it's kind of a complex answer. I think back in October's past, like, let's say,

2003, 2004, you know, there was always the, hey, you suck,

you rooting against the Red Sox.

And I had to one time run into my hotel with two guys coming out of the Beantown Pub,

who spotted me and they were coming after me because that's just the way it is in baseball

in October. But I can't tell you how many times I have gone to bed in Boston with a smile

on my face like, wow, what I just witnessed at Fenway was something that people have never seen before, whether it was coming

back from down three games to nothing to beat the Yankees or the beginning of that World
