Right now, we're going to go through some off-season awards or grades.

Let's go with grades, Phil, because really this is the off-season is not completely concluded,

but we're in this little limbo period prior to training camp.

And I think that the vision that the Patriots have constructed for 2025 in their

off-season is now virtually complete.

It's preparation for the season after this.

You agree with that?

Oh, yeah, I do.

You know, barring something unforeseen in terms of an addition at receiver, or maybe on the offensive line,

this is, we've kind of seen what

we think they think they're going to be this is you 90 right now and what we're going to do is

go position by position rapid fire because there's 22 of them throw in a punter and a kicker

while we're at it and just give a quick grade.

What we're going to take into account is the efforts made in the offseason, resources allocated to improving positions, and how that position has done so far.

Let's start off, Phil, with quarterback.

I'm going to give that position a grade of C plus.

I'm not going to talk about coaching staff and Josh McDaniels.

I'm not going to talk about anything that doesn't have to do with additions made and progress made.

And the additions made, to me, I still think the backup position to Drake May is a little bit of a downgrade. I don't know if

Josh Dobbs is somebody who is going to adequately be a Jacoby Brissette level replacement

if Drake May goes down. But I am buoyed by the performance and improvement of Drake May
