Hey, what's up everybody? Welcome into the Aftermath podcast. It was one day late. We had some glitches on Sunday, as did the Patriots. Phil Perry will join us in just a second. The Patriots have to do

some introspection over the next six weeks and five games. Made a lot of progress or some

mild progress over the last four games, but it was undone quite a bit on Sunday in Miami. Here's

Gerard Mayo talking about

where they are now and what they're trying to accomplish in the last six weeks in terms of

instilling a culture that prevents that kind of performance from ever happening again.

I never thought that we would be able to reestablish a culture in year one. It's a process. It's hard to change

a culture and we're trying to put those pieces together. I think it would be a disservice, you know,

to get to the end of the year and not know exactly what we have from a player or coaching

perspective. And that has to be our focus.

All right. Before I bring in the senator, just want to reiterate that what we saw in Miami was the kind of soup to nuts and competence that really undoes the weeks of progress.

You want to be tough, you want to be smart, you want to be disciplined.

One out of three ain't bad.

And I'm not even sure they're that tough right now.

You want to be a team that nobody wants to play?

Well, what got slapped out there on Sunday isn't going to make anybody hesitate to get on a

plane and play the Patriots. Four games, Jets, Titans, Bears, and Rams since they looked like a mess.

The last time they had was Jacksonville in London. They got demolished.

Now they're back at it again.

They're back at it with the offensive penalties,

unforced.

They had 10 for 75 total as a team.
