You know, since last Monday, when news broke that the Patriots have locked up Jono Smith,

it has been wave after wave crashing on the shores of happiness here in New England.

I mean, it's been player after player at positions of need who've been signed.

Good players, a lot of money spent.

The Patriots who made their bones as a homegrown team in 2001 largely through that decade in 2010,

largely, and through that decade. They went out and bought themselves a franchise.

And there's no reason to apologize for it because the guys who are coming aboard,

they're certainly not apologizing for it. Take a listen.
