The big story for me is, was the defense.

The defense just laid a big, big egg today. They really did.

The defense couldn't stop the run.

And if you're going to be an elite defense, you've got to be able to stop the run better than they did.

You got to create turnovers. They didn't create any turnovers.

You had Matthew Stafford who had thrown an interception, at least one interception, in the last six games. The Patriots right now are on pace to have one of the worst takeaways margins they've had in the history of the franchise. And so if you can't stop the run, you can't force turnoversovers and you can't come up situationally

bigger than what you did. Then they

deserve to lose this game and that's what happened.

The coaching decisions, especially on

defense, how the game was called on defense

was ultimately why the Patriots

lost this game. They were

going to live by the bullets and they were going to die
