The reason I'm taking Josh tonight is one, I haven't seen Mac's rookie game yet.

Like, Mac has not had that game as a rookie quarterback.

We go, ah, he's a rookie quarterback.

He threw two or three interceptions and played bad.

And I know Mack played at Bama.

And I know they played in the Iron Bowl, an incredible environment. And then on the road, I get that. It's different in the NFL. As Rex Ryan says, this is the men's league. And now you've got to go on the road in a crazy environment. It's going to be awful weather. Playmaker talked about this defense in Buffalo.

Leslie Frager, like, not having the ability to see a chaotic defense like this

and seeing it for the first time on the road when communication is a big deal,

that's a big challenge for a rookie quarterback next.

Leslie Frazier should be in the head coach conversation next year.

Like, this is not an offense that just lines up and says play. There's going to be a lot of moving parts tonight. I just haven't seen that rookie game yet out of him, and I'm wondering if is it going to be tonight. Now, Josh Allen, you know, the last three games against Bill, seven touchdowns, one pick. He's got an 82 QBR against this New England defense. And I know it's different people all that.

But Josh seems to rise up and play his best football against the New England patrons in the last two years.

Dan Rolofsky on tonight's matchup. He's got Josh Allen says he hasn't seen that rookie game from Mac Jones yet. Do you think we're going to get the rookie game from Mac Jones at this point? Or is he beyond that? I would say he's probably beyond. I don't think you're going to get the real ugly rookie game. I agree with you. I think he might have.

Go ahead, yeah. Yeah, I think if we got it, it was New Orleans. I mean, the New Orleans game was pretty bad. He didn't get protected in that game either. But I almost feel like he's a little too far along now to completely melt down. I just don't think they're going to allow him to have that kind of opportunity to have a bad game like that. Like, I don't think you're going to see him throw 50, 55 times in any of these games going forward. I'm not telling you that he's going to win every game or that he's the greatest things and sliced bread. But I do kind of think we're past the stage where he's going to have the quote unquote rookie game. Yeah, like, you touchdown for interception 46% completion percentage game i i i don't i mean i first of i think he's coached to well to

murray's point but i i think he's too far along now i mean you're almost got a full year in the league

i think so i hate to even admit that but i do i i I think it's, I think that ship has sailed. That would

have happened already. And maybe it already did. Maybe that New Orleans game was it.

All right. So your thoughts on tonight, Patriots Bills here on 985, the sports up. They kick it off at

around, what, 815? Our pregame starts at 530. So we're taking right up until Bertrand and Gasper on the pregame. So this is the pre-pre-game show. You can also weigh in on the events of the weekend. The Patriots are the number one seed in the AFC. Yay. And as you can tell, Mazz is not impressed for some reason. Right now, if the season ended right now, you're the number one seed first round by road to

the Super Bowl goes through Foxborough. And why are you mocking it? Well, because you still get five weeks, five games to play six weeks to go. I know, it's 406 in the afternoon. We have to do a show right now. They're the number one seed right now. I didn't say it was caught. I wasn't content. It's content. I'm telling you that I think people who are running around pounding their chest about it look like a bunch of jackasses.

But what are they, what are they? Are they warming up the duck boats already? Is that what they're doing? But a lot of people didn't expect them to be in this spot, especially after that Dallas loss when they're two and four, and especially before the season two. And the other thing, Maz, is like, this is why don't blame people for being geeked about it. It's more important than ever. There's one buy. You don't get two. Yes. Correct.
