YouTube as things are fast changing and this time I'm not going to try to

rely on the comment section to let me know what's going on.

I will be looking down at my phone repeatedly though throughout this episode because we have

just got some breaking news as I was getting ready to go live here. I was going to talk about where we stand with

Aaron Rogers, but Patrick Peterson has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers and already the Vikings have lost Eric Kendrick's and Adam Thielen and now

Patrick Peterson will not be returning either and of course if you guys want to

jump in the comments give your thoughts on what's going on in free agency today.

We've got a lot to discuss.

I'm going to be on here for about the next hour talking about what's going on and then

jump back on later tonight to kind of recap the whole day for

Paris for what's next because we have not seen some of the bigger names. I

think the Patrick Peterson exit was more or less, you know, inevitable that it didn't seem like it was going to be a very good fit for the Vikings with Brian Flores, although Peterson is apparently going to talk on his podcast at some point about what happened between him and the Vikings, but it just makes sense for them to get younger in the secondary for them to maybe sign some corners that might be a part of the future for them rather than having somebody who is in their 30s that is not going to be a major future piece.

It just kind of fits for both sides.

He goes to the Pittsburgh Steelers and, you know, I've seen some people taking shots at him,

like, oh, well, is that really a Super Bowl

contender we don't really know right now I mean the Pittsburgh Steelers

certainly win a lot with their franchise and are in the playoffs a lot so I

wouldn't count that out we're very early in the playoffs a lot so I wouldn't count that out.

We're very early in the off season and we don't know what Kenny Pickett is either.

So maybe he thinks that Kenny Pickett's got a chance or he just wanted to go to a consistently competitive franchise. I don't know. I'm not going to

criticize that. Just from the Vikings perspective, it just fits with their timeline to not decide to try to keep Patrick Peterson around.
