that deepen your understanding of God's Word

and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life.

Well, you know, your thought life is foundational when it becomes to living the abundant

life and even to the quality of your life. You know, every one of us has a pattern of thoughts,

a consistent pattern that shape our perspective and even frame our faith and even how we interpret

our battles. You know, some of your thoughts come straight from Father God. If you're in the

word, you know what his voice sounds like and the Holy Spirit will bring just impressions and words of

truth. And you just know it's him because it's accompanied by peace and insight or a revelation that

you couldn't have come up with on your own. Some of your other thoughts are planted by the enemy

himself, but he'll put them there in first person, making you feel like

you came up with that. Some of your thoughts come from the world in which you live and kind of an

accumulation of your life experiences. And some of those thoughts really are just from your own flesh,

your maybe sinful, selfish tendencies. So since Scripture tells us that we all see as in a glass dimly, I think we can all agree

that we can all grow and we're invited to grow in the renewal of our mind.

And that's not a once-and-done proposition, but in everyday practice to come out of

disagreement, come out of agreement with the enemy and into agreement with the Lord himself.
