We really do appreciate it and welcome to another edition of Lockdown Chiefs talking about COVID football and everything else. locked on with what's going on the leadership from Patrick Mahomes and then looking at how they're going to adjust to some of the things that are going on.

The thing that stands out to me first and foremost is that Patrick Mahomes is 25 years old and he owns part of the Royals at this point.

I was like I was dumbfounded did this surprise you at all?

A little bit and I say a little bit because you look at there was a group that was trying to buy the Mets and I don't think it ended up working out and Travis Kelsey was actually a part of that group. So it surprised me a little bit because I was expecting you know

Travis Kelsey is going to be part of the group trying to buy the Mets. Why isn't Patrick

Mahome is doing that? But this makes a little bit more sense for him and he really is all in on the Kansas City brand and that has got to bring

warmth to everybody's heart that's a chiefs fan. Yeah man that's that's really cool. I mean, obviously he has a big baseball background, so it's got to be a genuine interest is my thought, not just a business venture, but he certainly has grown into the Kansas City area and it seems to be widespread.

I really thought this was cool to see.

No, absolutely.

It's very cool to see and I think that it's going to be a good thing for Kansas City.

He already brought a water burger or is going to be a good thing for Kansas City. He already brought a

water burger is going to be bringing a water burger to Kansas City. I think

that's a good sign for things to come. The question now is can he bring an

NBA team? I think that there will be some talks in the future on that.

You know, and he actually, it looks like he bought a new car as well.
