The other day I was talking to a friend of mine about Patricia Lockwood and her new book,

No One Is Talking About This.

I was trying to describe to my friend how the book somehow manages to evoke the experience

of being extremely online in a way that doesn't feel annoying or strident or ironic just

exactly what it feels like.

But then it transforms into something so raw and real and moving to the point that I

spent the final 20 pages wiping tears from my face.
