dark confession of mine but I only saw Mahol and Drive this weekend for the first time. I've seen

like the first half hour of it but I've never watched the whole movie through and I was

floored. It's a really good one. I was not expecting that that whole turn at the end. It's a whole

like it's a horror movie. But it's also like a love story. Yeah. Which I was totally not prepared like

a queer love story. Which I was. Oh yeah. I was just not. Yeah. And like Naomi Watts was incredible.

Yeah. That was like her breakout role. And she just played it. Also, she's really the best

foreign person to do an American accent. Like she nails an American accent more than even Nicole.

Yeah. Nicole's American accent is just an Australian accent at this point. It's TVT,

it's transatlantic, Australian. Yeah. But that movie and also it takes place like in our neighborhood.

I know. I think of my building. My apartment building gives me real like Mahol and the vibes.

The courtyard. The courtyard. I also like daytime creepiness. It really does a good job of the daytime

horrors of LA. The dumpster man. Love the dumpster man. Yeah. I remember watching it like when I

was in film school because people, everyone like jizzed themselves over it. And then I watched it.

And I was like, this movie sucks. It's really boring. And then came back later to watch it and was like,

wait, I appreciate this. That's great. Yeah. And like I feel like living in LA. Like you're right.

It totally nails just the day to day like bizarreness of the city and how things are. It's always like

afternoon here. And hot and like strange and like I mean, we've all I feel like I've had

a few Mahol and drive moments in LA. Oh, totally. There's a lot of like

how you have that can only take place in LA that you're just like what the fuck is going on right now.

Like my hand story. Which hand story? The woman like opening Simon's door. Oh my god, yes.

On all four. Right. And like you're I mean, you told me some like we both have

my like dead shark in the pool. Yeah. That was like, okay, no, that's totally okay to say.
