Patreon just doesn't seem to learn.

They went through this crisis last year with the banning of Lauren Southern.

But a lot of people said, well, you know, Lauren Southern did go into the Mediterranean and

do that activist kind of stuff, so it's a tough spot.

Now, Sam Harris, famous podcaster and neuroscientist who had the 13th largest Patreon account, has

abruptly deleted his account, issuing a statement to fans and followers that because of the

banning of certain people, he would no longer be using the service.

We are also now seeing many people who are a political being negatively impacted.

People posting on Reddit saying they don't even make political content but they're losing

patrons.

Because people have multiple interests, some people who support Sargon, support gamers

and other creators and artists, and they've pulled out their support for people who are

not related to this.

But the collateral damage gets worse.

Many of you follow me know that in response to the banning of Sargon of a God, I launched

a subscribe star account.

I have not been banned by Patreon.

I did this because I wanted to diversify where my income streams come from out of fear

that Patreon could snap their fingers and terminate my income because they don't like

my brand.
