It was the middle of a Philadelphia snowstorm, January 26, 2011, when 27-year-old Ellen Greenberg

returned home early from teaching her first grade class.

The school had closed early due to the weather, and Ellen texted her fiancé, Sam Goldberg, to say she was home safe.

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
