It's that time of year.

The sun is out.

It's a wonderful time for Oscar, Oscar, Oscar. Wait, it's past that. What is it now? I recently heard someone say on a podcast, the straight face, you know, Billy Crystal was the best ox gross. One of the most dated opinions of all time. I mean, that used to be, you know, that used to be a general consensus, didn't it? Have you ever gone back and looked at his Oscar stuff? Yeah, it's not good. It's hilariously bad. You got a. That, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, that. All right, no, we're here to talk about the summer movie season. Wow. Summer movies. Don't you just like, you know,

it's hot out, you're out, you're on vacation, presumably, because you're a kid, you know.

As an adult, you get no vacations. Especially as a freelancer. No, every day is workday. Every day, weekend, you know, whatever. But let's pretend we had vacations. Wow. Okay.

Let's pretend that we weren't like overseas like editing a

podcast desperately like in the airport lounge. Hoping to get it out. Yeah. Let's, uh, let's imagine, you know, the sun's out. We were just at the pool. We got an ice cream. We worked our nine to five. We have a nice pension. Wouldn't that be nice. We're going to retire one day. Yeah, wouldn't it be nice if you, you didn't work 10 years to make the annual income of like what I made in my first year at an entry level job. Anyway, it doesn't matter. I actually have nothing to complain about. No, no, you have nothing to complain about. People listening right now like, I'll change spots with Will right now yeah yeah yeah I also have glory and

fame and that's good yep but you know what we also have the summer movie schedule look forward

to man it's so hot out we just want to get inside and get some air conditioning right I just need

want that bad Cineplex popcorn it's so bad and hey to say nothing to the hot dog or the nachos also bad. I like the nachos are okay. I like the like salty round nachos. That hot dog is bad and you see, and I'm there stuff in my face if I haven't eaten anything before it. So the thing about the nachos is the round nachos, you can't dip them. Oh, you got to break them. You got to break them.

Come on, guys.

If you put them round in your mouth, you're going to cut the corners of your mouth. It's going to hurt. I shouldn't have to, there shouldn't be another extra step where I break the nacho just so I condemn it. Whoa with me. See? See? Anyway, no, this is constructive criticism for Cineplex. Okay. So, yeah, we're kicking back. And, you know, we just had an Oscar season, right? The movies where you got to put your thinking cap on. You have to, you know, like serious movies and stuff, like art. Yeah. Right. And now I just want to have some fun. That's right. Kicking back. I want the whole season that was basically engineered by people like Steven Spielberg who destroyed the cinematic landscape as we know it. That's absolutely right. And you know, my favorite movie stars, Arnold, Sly. They're all back on the big screen. The two tombs, you know, it's the summer of big stars. Wait, two Tom's?

Hank's and Cruz.

Oh, yeah.

You know, the biggest stars in the world.

I don't think any of those people have movies this year?

Yeah, you know, the biggest comedy star Jim Carrey, you know, it's summer at the box office.
