Well, fine.

This one says, in the late 17th century,

a strip of taverns on Derby Street across from Derby Wharf became the go-to place for illegal activity.

Sailors and sea captains visiting Salem used underground tunnels to make their way to brothels in the red light district.

It also rumored that they would use these tunnels to kidnap people,

which that happens at a lot of places that are close to the ports.

Yeah, but what a sneaky way to go to a brothel.

Yeah, that's like perfect.

That's like when you drive by these like a little kid like a good way of something.

That's when you drive by these adult bookstores and they always have a big sign that says plenty of parking in the rear.

So nobody, nobody sees you at the adult bookstore.

Oh, yeah. For boy, I give them that out when they come out of that parking lot.

That's why I do.

I mean, new cut, new circle, that one place and you'll see somebody pull out and you're like, oh.

Yeah, every time I go by an adult bookstore and I see somebody out walking,

I always honk the horn that way they spend the rest of the day trying to figure out who saw him going in there.

So today, that stretch of Derby Street is still home to some cafes and taverns,
