There have been numerous debates over the years on waspirates which choose to remain earthbound

after their bodies have expired. Some think that this could be the result of a tragic

end of their life such as a murder or an automobile accident and maybe they're not even aware

that they are dead. Others will argue that they hang around for unfinished business. Some

will voice the theory that they just want to watch over their loved ones, a guardian angel

so to speak. In this episode you will learn of a college student who just may have enjoyed

his fret life a little too much to leave it behind.

In 1958 Stanley Rice, a member of the Indiana University chapter of the Captain Delta

Row fraternity, was killed in a tragic car accident. Although he died, he continued to be an

active part of the brotherhood. It's been said that after the collision, Rice's spirit

haunted the fraternity building at 1503 East Third Street in Bloomington, Indiana. It

was there that he reportedly appeared in a girl's eerie dream. The incident occurred

just after final exams when most of the students had left campus for a well-deserved Christmas

break. The fraternity house manager had invited his girlfriend over for the afternoon, but

he got called away shortly after her arrival. The manager told his girlfriend that he wouldn't

be gone long and he left her in his room to wait for his return. As the girl waited,

she found herself getting tired. She stretched out on the bed and within minutes was asleep.

According to reports from the Indiana Daily Student, her sleep was far from peaceful. From

the minute that she dripped it off, the girl felt cold and utterly alone. She pulled

up the blankets tighter around her, but she was unable to stay off the chill. The girl
