I think so sorry I think I think forcing the vote I mean okay so the force the vote the moment has passed in terms of like Nancy Pelosi you know trying to use leverage over her speakership as a way to force her to bring a floor vote on Medicare for all. That's over. I think let's let's let's

separate these things. The floor vote on Medicare for all I don't necessarily think is a terrible

thing. I think it's actually a good thing, even if it is a failure. I don't I don't I don't agree

with folks who say that, like, you know,

the floor vote failing would damn Medicare for all.

I don't think that's really true.

I don't really think, though, that, you know,

trying to kind of pin it to, you know,

whether or not Nancy Pelosi keeps her speakership,

um, really was all that strategically, you know, sound.

Um, you could say, okay, yeah, we need to make people show their asses on this.

And, um, if we can threaten Pelosi speakership we should do that

but like if you threaten Pelosi speakership first of all I mean like that wasn't going to happen

but if it did who's who's replacing Pelosi you have a whole bunch of blue dogs and Kevin McCarthy

and whoever else, you know,

who are going to be worse than Nancy Pelosi,

even if you can even believe that that's a thing in line after.

Or Hakeem Jeffries, who's like, you know, already pretty terrible.

So I think like if it's like we want a floor vote and we're going to threaten it,

and if, you know, somehow it magically works out that we don't make her speaker,

we can end up with who knows what.

I do think a floor vote isn't a bad thing,
