I feel like this is a movie where if you see it six, seven, eight times, it's like amazing

because you can have a great time like picking it all apart and being like, that's that character,

that's that actor, which means, you know, this is how that relates to that.

But that's not going to happen. I'm probably never going to do that.

I wouldn't be surprised if I watched this movie again at some point in my life, but it's not going to be enough to really be able to parse it all, right? And then, yeah,

watching kind of reading up on it after the fact and watching some breakdowns and everything.

I was like, yeah, I did have the feeling watching it. I was like, oh, this isn't as messy as I expected it to be in the sense that, like you said, Michael, there is a methodical kind of structuring to it all, and it feels very purposeful and everything. So there is a sense of like I feel like I'm in good hands when I'm watching it. And also, as you said, Trisha, like, this is so impenetrable and is trying to do so much.

It is taking such big swings that it's like, I don't know that I'm going to actually,

I don't know that I'm actually feeling anything when I'm watching it as much as like,

you know, someone's like, hey, you want to go to a clown car museum? And you're like, sure, I don't know what that's going to be like. And then you go there and you're just like,

that was weird, you know, and then like, that's a thing I do. That's a very apt metaphor, actually.

Needs to happen. Yeah. But even like expectations, like, you know, like when you've ever done like some weird thing and like some random city you're in and you're just like, I don't have, my expectations are nothing. My expectations are just like this is going to be some strange experience. And, and yeah, so I'm looking forward to talking about it, but, but I sort of have both sets of feelings of just like what a, you know, I think one of the video essays I've watched was like, this is the most important piece of art of the last hundred years or whatever.

I'm just like, buddy.

Calm down.

Yeah.

And at the same time, like, it's so ambitious and it's in some ways pulls off a lot of

it's trying to pull off and in other ways doesn't. And I think that's that's why we're here for

Big Swing Summer. Like, we weren't just going to talk about this movie randomly. We're talking about it

when we talk about movies that are incredibly ambitious. And as you said at the top,

Michael, like, this is one of the most. Yeah. Yeah, I did see an interview with the Wachowski's where

they said that they think this will be the film for which they're most remembered. Like, it's like

their legacy. And they said it's the one that they're most proud of as well, which I respect standing by something you've made
