I made the comment to John that the thunder are flopping in

specific ways for specific refs. And he made the comment to me that I was a conspiracy theorist

for viewing them as taking it that far. And I realized part of why John and I have had a little

bit of a disconnect on this issue is I think you are not

aware of how nasty the sport that we love has gotten to the extent that there's a whole

YouTube breakdowns on players knowing how to take advantage of ref blind spots, screening the ref being a legitimate, quote unquote, legitimate,

legitimate coached basketball tactic of getting in the way of a ref and an action

so that when a player is selling a foul,

the ref does not see the full what happened.

They just see the player, you know player being dramatic about it or whatever.

To the extent that in the NFHS in high school nationally,

you can get tech teed up for if you are screening a ref
