What I've learned from going through the Old Testament, I've never gone through the entire Bible,

0:04.4

like in one, I was going to say in one sitting, but I, well, I don't know.

0:08.0

I'm definitely still not doing that. And this is going to sound a little, I don't mean to sound

0:13.4

heretical, but so I work with behavioral health patients, okay? And there's one side that is for

0:19.1

people who are like detoxing from alcohol and depressed, they try to kill themselves and we're

0:25.0

just like sorting out their meds and getting them safe. Then there's another side where they are

0:29.7

coming off of meth and PCP, a lot of them homeless and they are psychotic and they are not in our

0:36.5

state. They're not experiencing our same reality. The two different populations, even though they're

0:40.8

all behavioral health, they play by different rules. The one side, they play by our same social

he does some stuff, he throws some tables over. He definitely was more about the people that were

1:10.4

overlooked in society, but he basically was about loving and doing the right thing and so he's a

1:16.2

little more not palatable, but you know what I mean? But the God of the Old Testament, wow, you do not

1:23.4

see the things coming that he's about to do. Sometimes, I mean, he forever forgives the Israelites,

1:28.8

but then everyone swells, the earth opens up and swells somebody up because they did the wrong thing.

1:34.2

However, other people have done that too when that didn't happen. Moses strikes a rock instead of

1:40.0

just talking to the rock and he doesn't even get to go in the Promised Land. You know, it just doesn't

1:44.8

add up, it doesn't make sense to us. And so I feel like the God of the Old Testament is what he's

1:50.5

wilds. Yeah. And that's the God of the New Testament. I'm not saying they're different, but I'm

1:54.1

saying it just gives a really different perspective on God that can make you like, you were saying,
