Well, folks, we have a bit of a reflection today about one of our favorite subjects on this show.

And this came about because last week, you'll all remember, we talked about Larry Elder's classic film, Michael and me.

We became the first people in 15 years at least to watch the film.

So that was pretty cool.

It felt like planning a flag on the moon.

Got me thinking about Michael Moore again, our old friend.

And just this past week, I was out, and I saw the criterion edition of Bowling for Columbine

for Sale used.

What's the saddest poem you've ever heard?

For sale, bowling for Columbine, never played.

Anyway, some strange thing came over me me and I bought it because I wanted to spend a little

time with Michael Moore again.

And on the Criterion Blu-ray, there's a 35-minute documentary called Michael Moore Makes a

movie.

It features new interviews or new at the time that the disc was made.

I think that was 2018.

New interviews with Michael Moore and some of his collaborators on Bowling for Columbine,

including Chief Archivist Carl Deal, supervising producer Tia Lesson. And by the way,

Carl Deal and Tia Lassen have become directors in their own right they just made a film about

amy goodman for example called steal this story please as well as field producers jeff

gibbs and megan o'hara and they walk through the making of bowling for columbine and articulate

the process of making a michael more movie yeah, it just got me thinking about Michael Moore again,
