Summary

In May of 2007, Gerry and Kate McCann took their family on vacation to the resort town of Praia De Luz, Portugal. On the evening of evening of May 3, their daughter, three-year-old Madeleine, was abducted out of her bed sometime around 10 pm while her parents and their friends dined at a restaurant about 55 meters (180 feet) away from the villa where she slept. Almost over night, Madeleine's disappearance became an international media sensation as her parents, the Portuguese police, and the public began their search for her.
