Until after the playoffs are over now I understand so you sitting around out there and saying well that's why we have the finals MVP and everything else that's fine I'm not saying you should do away with the finals MVP in fact the finals MVP can and should be frequently different than the regular season MVP that makes total sense a couple of years ago Andre Aguidala was the finals MVP if you remember the first year that the Warriors won their title when they beat the calves and came back from a two one

deficit Andre Aguidala was the MVP certainly wasn't anywhere in the running to be the MVP for the NBA regular season you can still have the NBA finals MVP but I don't see how there's any way imaginable that if you look at this season now and you consider all of the MVP candidates and there were four that got a lot of attention right LeBron James co-I Leonard Russell Westbrook and James Harden.

I think LeBron has been a bitch off the basketball court all year sometimes a bitch on the basketball court but is there anyone listening to me right now who doesn't believe that LeBron James is the MVP of the NBA this season.

To me the performance that James Harden put up in game six last night disqualifies him from being in VP in any way and remember Harden's team was better than Russell Westbrook's team already but the no show was Harden upset because he felt like he was blamed for the way game five ended.

I don't know but that is one of the worst performances by a really good player that I can remember watching in NBA recent history for sure.

It reminded me a little bit of Scotty Pippen when he pulled himself out of the game because he was upset that he didn't get the final shot instead of a coup coach long time ago if you guys are old school NBA fans.

Remember when Scotty Pippen waved himself out chose to stay on the bench when Phil Jackson designed to play for Tony CooCoach.

I think that was the first year that Michael Jordan was playing the minor leagues.

Huge story would be even bigger story now. CooCo chipped the jumper by the way but that's the last time I can remember an NBA player really quitting and to me James Harden quit last night.

And if you are in Houston and you went to watch that game I think the rocket should have come out and said we're refunding every fans take a price for this game because your team didn't show up.

It's one thing they'll lose everybody loses right it's a competitive sport some days your shots just don't fall that happens but to lose by 39 at home and a close out game when you're favored by nearly double digits.

This is totally unacceptable and I'm not just saying that because I said take the rockets I thought they would win in a walkoff and I thought we'd have a game seven.

I think if you asked pop of it before the game he would have told you yeah we're probably going to lose this game.

I expect for them to win game six it's why I'm not playing Kauai Leonard at all I want to get him healthy.

Unbelievable performance awful awful performance by Houston rockets here's the other thing I think this is one of those situations where you have to look at Mike d'Antoni and say boy what in the world happened here.

I'm not a guy who usually sits around at individual games and says boy this coach needs to answer for this you know unless they make a clear strategic error that's indefensible.

But I do think when your team comes out and plays like this and loses by 39 points it's evidence of your lack of control over the locker room I don't know what d'Antoni said to James Harden I don't know what he said to everybody else in that locker room but that team shouldn't be capable of showing up in game six at home and losing by that margin.

I'm not trying to take away from Greg pop it's just the best coach in the NBA.
