The word divestature has taken on a whole new meaning,

and that meaning has an entire class of workers in a panic. Outdoor clothing company,

Patagonia, will no longer sell its fleet-end-down vests to most of the corporate world.

That's chilling news for so-called tech bros, Wall Street Titans of Power, and other generally

male banking finance and tech execs. Going forward, Patagonia says, it'll only allow B-Corp's and

other planet-friendly organizations to adorn Patagonia vests with their names. The company will choose

who gets to buy its vests on a case-by-case basis. That decision is

leaving a whole raft of tech bros out in the cold. Well, let's back up a sec. If you don't live in

New York City or Silicon Valley, this particular fashion statement might have passed you by.

See, over the past few years, the vest over shirt sleeves, has become the uniform of the power elite, especially in finance.
