Pad Tom Masulo has been one of those people that I've wanted on the podcast for a really long time.

He's been super busy when he's not anchoring the WGN Morning News as their sports anchor and provocateur.

At the time he was still doing when I first asked him he was still doing his Sunday night show which we get into the man of the people show.

And I wanted to talk to him about that whole creative process and he was very open about what the things were that he liked, what things that if he's given another chance he would do differently.

All that sort of stuff I think that Pat is such a creative you know he's a sportscaster in a creative space and you get to see his skill like his skill level play out every morning.

I think that the WGN Morning News is the best news program in the country.

I've sampled a lot of it just and I know that I haven't sampled it as much as everything else but no one is able to do the high wire act, the tap dance that that show does on a daily basis the way that they do.

They can do serious when they need to do serious they do funny a lot more often and it's great.
