Charles Mayfield, we're going to be talking about regenerative farming and meat production,

pastured meat production at the homestead, small community farmstead level.

I think this is a really, really important topic because I'm looking out and I'm seeing

a war on food.

I know some people think that's crazy talk but with the number of processing plants and

other things that have been burnt down and the stupid policies we've had, it feels like

there's a war on food and there's definitely a war on meat.

They want to eat beyond burger which is like soy muck with beet juice.

I'm not eating that.

So the more meat we can produce for ourselves, the less we have to rely on them.

So that makes it an important topic.

Also I just think it's an important topic because I'm an environmentalist and I believe

the best thing that we can do for the environment is manage room and it's endurotational grazing

and manage other pastured animals because I think it grows topsoil and grows perennial

grasses and it sequesters carbon.

So all of the stuff that the eco people say they want, we can actually do with this.

We can do that small scale, large scale, mid scale, whatever.

But we're going to talk about it in a way where you can do it for yourself today.
