My name is Todd Pruitt, and I'm joined by my co-host Carl Truman.

Now, I do have to say, before we go any further further that Carl and I are in this thing alone today

because Amy was not able to be with us today.

And so we're going to do an entire program on the things that bother us about women.

It's going to be a multi-part series. We're only going to scratch the

surface. Just scratching the surface. Yeah, it's a five-part series and it deals with... Are we

talking women or one particular woman here? Well, you know, that's going to be, I think,

kind of hard to discern as we move

along. I'm going to try to keep it general, but I don't know. We'll do our best. But Amy, wherever

you are, we miss you, and I want you to know that you shouldn't take any of this personally,

unless it sounds really personal. Maybe we'll do that in the future. How about we do this first, though?

On a serious note, you are no doubt aware and remember the very tragic circumstances

that happened in Southern California a few weeks ago, April 27th, when at the Poet Synagogue, just outside of San Diego, I believe, a gunman

entered the synagogue shooting several people that were gathered there, tragically killing

Lori Gilbert Kay, a 60-year-old member of that synagogue.

Now, that was tragic all on its own and certainly

an act of evil. But one of the things that came out that added greater gravity to us who are

Presbyterians and who are reformed, and probably anybody who was a professing Christian, is that

the shooter, this young man, was a member or at least someone who had been brought up in a Presbyterian church.
