would say we don't really even recognize anymore. You know, there's new landscapes of

hostility and division and accusation all around us, and we have, it seems, countless

opportunities to be offended. Deep family and friendship roots have been severed by issues of the day, as if issues are more important than our relationships with ones we love.

How do we get here?

Have mercy, Lord.

Well, my guest today writes this.

How did we lose kindness, goodness, and beauty?

And more important, how do we get them back into our lives? He further writes,

Jesus is the one who offers a way of being human that's both strong and tender enough to tear down

these walls. So contrary to what maybe you're seeing all around you, we can recover goodness,

beauty, and kindness once again. Rich Veloda, I know I'm going to, I have him so psyched out that I've

already pronounced his name wrong. Villadus, Rich Villadus joins me today to talk about his book,

Good and Beautiful and Kind, becoming whole in a fractured world. And that's what today's
