Well, blessings and good evening and welcome to our midweek Bible study on this Thursday night.

Tonight, our topic is going to be on man's inability to govern.

And if we are completely honest with ourselves, completely honest. We can see in every area of man's life,

that man in and of himself is incapable of governing. Man cannot do it. Can not govern himself because man is full of this agent called evil.

You would agree, right?

Every last one of us has this evil inside of us which should be an unwelcome agent.

We should not want to have it in us.

We are given this at birth, unfortunately.

It's inherited and it's never completely eradicated

until either death or our bodies are completely transformed

into incorruptible beings.

Truly looking forward to that.

But right now, we're all corruptible.

And this is a problem. It's a problem for us as Christians,

and even more so for those who do not believe in the true and living God.

And because of this lack of belief in God that many people have and the lack of the adherence to his word, man alone will never be able to govern himself.

Period. And God demonstrates this. able to govern himself, period.

And God demonstrates this with the rise and fall of empires throughout history over and over again.

Man alone will never be able to win because men alone cannot defeat the prince

and or ruler of this world. Are you following me? And as we all know, the ruler of this world is Satan.

For now.

But this is his kingdom.
