Good evening, and on behalf of Pastor Jady Farag, we'd like to welcome you through our midweek Bible study here at Calvary Chapel, Kani'oi,

where we're normally in the Old Testament doing our line-by-line teaching through the Bible.

But tonight, we will be conducting a topical teaching, but before we get to that, let's bow our hearts in a word of prayer.

Loving Heavenly Father, I come to you just asking you to take over and speak your word of truth

to all those who would listen, prepare our hearts to receive this message, educate us all,

and show us your glory, and all that is accomplished here through this teaching tonight.

It's a tough one, Lord, so would you give me the tact and just fix this broken vessel,

and whatever I speak, may it be of you and tune the ears

of those who are listening to hear your tune and Lord now speak to your children we are all listening

in the mighty name of Yeshua Jesus the Christ we do pray amen I hear a bunch of ooze already.

I haven't even said anything.

Lord, tonight my study will be on the faith or religion of Buddhism. And this one is a tough one to tackle for many

reasons. And like with topics of this nature, this time that we have together tonight will not

even scratch the surface of this religion. But I pray that it will build a foundation

that we can build upon as we go out and witness to the world. This religion has manuscripts that continue to evolve even to the day.

So we need to discuss it.

It's very deep.

At the same time, without going overboard because we don't have the time to do so, we cannot

simplify it because that will not do it justice. Nor will it make us better witnesses

to be able to answer the questions that they may have when it comes to our belief.

So at minimum, the goal for tonight is to make us better witnesses when it comes to Buddhism.
