before we get into our lesson or teaching for tonight.

Loving Heavenly Father,

I want to thank you so much for allowing us

once again to assemble as your children.

We are very needy in the Department of Understanding and Wisdom,

and we come to you because you are wisdom.

And as we listen to your words tonight,

I pray that you would penetrate all of our hearts and our minds

in the deepest recesses of our souls,

that we can learn from these words.

Take heed to them and apply them

and be better Christians and better stewards of your

words and ways, and that we can just be a witness to all that see us. So we thank you now for

that which only you can do by the power of your Holy Spirit, we pray. In the name of Jesus, amen.

So tonight, our study is going to be on biblical leadership qualities.

Now, that on the onset applies directly to pastors and teachers and elders and those who lead

in any part of the ministries of the church of any type.

But in the end, it really applies to us all as Christians because we never know when we

may be called into that leadership position.

And by the way, we also lead in our own homes and also when we leave the confines of our church building.

So our anchor verse for this study will be coming from the book of Acts chapter 20 in verse 28.
