So here's a question for you. How do you handle being misunderstood?

Especially when you feel like that misunderstanding could impact your reputation.

Remember a number of years ago, over the course of a few days, three different people whom I love and

trust and cherish, all three in random situations relayed back to me, a conversation they were having about me me to someone else saying, oh, I told her you didn't go because, or I told her you did that because all three of them were as wrong as the day was long. And they were like close friends. And I was like, how could you get that so wrong? But it was like, it was innocent. It was not a big deal. But it just made me realize, you know,

how often maybe we're being represented in a way that's not accurate, how we cannot manage people's

opinions of us. And we certainly can't control what people say about us. So how do we come to a place

where we can rest our reputation in the Lord? How do we come to a place where we become more skilled

at navigating

conflict so that we're not living in a spirit of offense, of rejection, of anger and bitterness,

or even fear of man? The Bible says the fear of man is a snare, but the fear of God is safety and

freedom. Well, my friend, Pastor Carolyn Haas,

joins me today to talk about this very thing, about entrusting our reputation to the Lord,

about trusting God with what he says about us, way over what man says about us, but then
