In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully

inspire you in your faith walk,

that deepen your understanding of God's Word, and that heightens your awareness of his very real

presence in your life. Well, pretty much every Christian I know is waiting for a breakthrough

of some kind. And I guess the more even think about it, waiting for a breakthrough is a normal

part of the Christian experience. In fact, I'd maybe even go a little step further to say, if you're not waiting for a breakthrough is a normal part of the Christian experience.

breakthrough, you might not be contending in faith quite enough.

Because as we're contending, as we're daring to not settle for our circumstances, but to

settle into the love of God and believe him for breakthroughs. We learn that we're walking in

some promises now, some fulfillment now while we wait. And it's not about discontentment. It really is

about actively engaged faith. But something I've noticed happens, especially when the breakthrough

that you need and you long for, isn't a luxury. Isn't like a dream come true so much.

It's more like you're so desperate not to be sick anymore. You're so desperate not to be
