And this is episode 125, Passover with Eric Silver. I went to my first Passover last year, I think, or two years ago. And so it was really kind of nice to revisit something that I'm not too familiar with, but I have a basic understanding of.

Yes, you know, a really generous and kind listener email to us a few months ago sort of said, like, hey, I know you guys bring up a lot of Christian stories, since that's your background.

But there are a lot of stories that you're only giving one side of. And like the version of this story that exists in Judaism is totally

different or more interesting, probably. And I thought that that was a really good opportunity

for me to expand my perspective and to realize ways that I had been seeing the world in a way that was

erasing other people. And I want to rectify that. So actually, this week, I want to jump

ahead a little bit and recommend a book called Jewish Literacy, which has really been helping

me to sort of have like a 101 on a lot of the stories in the Torah that I just didn't know about and different

Jewish traditions. And it was really well written. It's really brief in each of the

stories. So it kind of, you know, has very much like a 101 level, like a surface level

description. But I'm already like having a list of different like additional reading that I want

to go down. So that is Jewish Literacy by Rabbi Joseph Talushkin.
