I extended the Alpha Course to 10 weeks.

For the weekend away, I chose the person and work of the Holy Spirit and people were prayed for.

God used those weekends to really change people's lives.

I remember too young Virginia Dihonis being stopped by the police after an half weekend,

being asked whether she realized she was going at great speed and she honoured, oh no,

officer, don't you realize I've just been filled with the Holy Spirit?

I'm afraid that didn't get her off.

their lives. And it's to counterat. I get so fed up of watching the news and getting sucked

into news sometimes which just bombards me. You know, when you watch the news, you let someone

else curate all the bad stuff that's gone in the world so you can feel more depressed, more

anxious, more cynical, more negative. And it's not good for our souls. And so I love this inspired community. And I know so

many of you are part of it and love it as well because we need good news and we need to be

encouraged and we need to be inspired. I've got no doubt this week that you will be inspired because
