Summary

There are three pillars of success that you can choose to focus on, rather than attaching your happiness or fulfillment to a specific end goal. When you are able to effectively combine passion, purpose, and profitability, that is when you are getting closer to your true potential as a leader. 9 Ways to Focus on Your Passion Many people tend to think that passions come naturally to us, but I believe that the key to finding your passion is simply learning to love what you do. Passion is all about mindset, so practice telling yourself that you “get to” do something, rather than thinking that you “have to” do it. When we change how we look at the world, the things we look at change. Examine Your Mindset - Be honest about your ability to find passion in what others would find mundane or annoying. Can you infuse passion into what you are doing? Take Inventory of Who and What You Love (and Why You love Them) - Take stock of your current “passions”, as well as the characteristics or values that attract you to the. Use Your Imagination - Practice taking something from possibility to a probability in your mind, and then try to turn it into your perspective or reality. Ask People Who Sit in the Situation You Want to be in What They’re Passionate About - Find out what the people you look up to care most about and consider whether it fits your values. Get Better at What You are Currently Doing - Focus on improving at your current job, and search for the joy of progress. Trust and Vet - Take others at their word about how to make the most of a particular passion, hobby, or pursuit, but do your own research as well. Be More Interested Than Interesting - Exercise your curiosity frequently and be willing to try new pursuits. Practice, and Practice, and Practice Some More - Think about skills, knowledge, and desire that you can apply to your greatest passions. Never Quit Angling - Make use of the Law of Gravity, the Law of GOYA and the Law of Attraction in order to find gratitude for where you are, take action and angle towards where you want to be, and create coincidences with your attention and intention.
