is, look around.

It's saltless saints.

That's where the problem is.

Salt that is lost its savor, it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out and to be

troddened under the foot of men.

You know, salt is necessary for life, both physical and spiritual.

Only God could design the chemical makeup of salt, combining dangerous, deadly components

to make something necessary for life, preservation, and purity.

Likewise, by God's divine chemistry of the cross, we as Christians have become new creatures with significant

importance to the world around us. It's crucial that we understand the importance of salt,

so that we can better understand our role in a desperate world. If you have your Bible

turn to Matthew chapter 5, as Adrian Rogers begins this message,

pass the salt.

Matthew chapter 5 and verse 13, the Lord Jesus said,

Ye are the salt of the earth.

But if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted.

It is thenceforth good for nothing but to be cast out and to be trodden under the foot of men.
