Today's tip is to share experiences that you enjoy

with anyone else who you think might like them.

This is a great way to connect with people and

it's helpful as well because almost everyone loves recommendations. We all go through life forming opinions on things. We also all go through life looking for ways to nourish relationships with family members, friends and colleagues.

The good news is that we combine these practices whenever

we recommend something to someone. This is an authentic and helpful reason to reach

out and lets the other person know you were thinking about them.

And so every time you have a good experience, ask yourself whether you could share it with

someone you care about. You loved Susan Orleans book

about the Los Angeles Library Fire? Recommend it to your library loving friend.

Your local grocery store is carrying your favorite egg

nog from a creamery near your hometown. Text a photo of the egg nog to your

neighbor who shops at the same grocery store. And while you're at it, text a photo to your parents, along with memories of

enjoying the eggnog with them as you decorated your house for the holidays every year.

You found a new webinar series that's given you lots of ideas

applicable to your job. Share it with a colleague who would benefit too. You could

even have a weekly routine of texting the takeaways from the webinar you plan to apply to your own work.

That'll put a capstone on the shared experience and also create some accountability for following through with what you learn. Now you'll notice
