jaw-dropping, horrifying. It is from Andrew Bridgen, Conservative MP for Northwest Leicestershire,

in which he writes, as one consultant cardiologist said to me, this, the vaccination program,

is the biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust.

Now, the idea that you compare the battle against COVID with the industrialised slaughter

and systematic execution of millions of Jews, Roma, homosexuals, communists, criminals, is just plain, fatuous and idiotic.

Andrew Bridgen, it will surprise no one to hear, has now been suspended as a Conservative MP

and he's been suspended for spreading misinformation.

That was what Simon Hart, who's the Conservative Chief Whip, said.

He'd crossed a line and caused great offence.

I think it's also relevant to add in that Mr Bridgen is serving at the moment a five-day

suspension from Parliament for breaching parliamentary rules

on registering financial interests. So maybe he just wanted to go out in a blaze there. We don't know.

What we do know is that he is out of step with his own party. And he has crossed the line at this

point from being a mainstream critic to

being a conspiracy theorist on what he thinks the COVID vaccine is capable of doing.
