Hello and welcome to a good one, a podcast about jokes. I'm here with another bonus episode meant

to tide you, my friends, over as we prepare to come back in full force better than ever

early next year. This, this episode that you're about to listen, was the first ever reunion of the creators and

cast of Party Down, recorded live at Vulture Festival.

Party Down premiered on Stars in March 2009, which was just when I needed it.

See I was actually working as a caterer in Los Angeles

and I had a friend who said I had to watch this show

that was just like my life.

Now, I wasn't struggling to become an actor.

I actually was a hopeless major agency assistant.

However, I felt like Party Down deeply understood what it feels like when you're

questioning if and when you're supposed to abandon your dreams.

I did end up losing that job, but it put me on a path that will eventually lead to me

moderating the reunion of the show that meant so much to me at the time.

In attendance were the show Stars Adam Scott, Busy Kaplan, Megan Malale, Jane Lynch, Martin

Star, Ryan Hanson, and Ken Marino, and his creators John Embalm,

Dan Etheridge, and Rob Thomas.

It was one of the great hours and change of my life.
